All classroom/school volunteers must be Virtus certified before volunteering. Please see the Virtus page of our website for more information.
If you are interested in helping out in the classroom, please contact your child’s homeroom teacher. Forms are typically sent home at the beginning of the year asking for parent availability for grade-level specific activities; however we are always looking for parents to help with various projects throughout the school year!
The areas where we frequently need help are:
- facilitating centers (kindergarten and first grade)
- detailed classroom projects
- hanging student work in the hallways
- photographing artwork for Artsonia
- laminating/cutting
- cafeteria help
*Note: All school and Booster volunteers are required to become Virtus certified, and it is their responsibility to remain compliant in order to participate in any curricular, extra-curricular, or athletic activities on or off school grounds.
